How do I stop ghosting and temporary burn in on my Samsung LCD TV?

I have a Samsung LE26R41B 26" LCD TV. However, I notice ‘ghosting’ on dark pictures (like in some games, night times in films for example). Also, temporary burn in happens a LOT, like for leaving a picture on for 5 minutes sometimes! Can these be stopped or reduced?
