Best Camcorder to get? Help!?

by Admin on July 24, 2010

Im 13 years old and love making videos and recording things. Im looking for a very good quality camera for my birthday. Im looking for high-quality and I don’t know that much about camera’s. What are things I should look for in a camera? Im looking at http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Camileo+H30+High-Definition+Camcorder+with+3%22+Touch+Screen+-+Black/9984337.p?id=1218205383177&skuId=9984337 because of the great quality that i have seen on youtube. Also I am looking at Nikon COOLPIX S8000,Nikon COOLPIX L110, and COOLPIX P100. I am mostly looking for video not still shots. What is the best camera out of the ones and named? And are there any cameras i should be looking at that i havent i am open to any. I would like to stay 0 or under.

Thanks in Advance, Luke

I would recommend Panasonic HDC-SD60K SD Based Hi-Def Camcorder with 35X Intelligent Zoom
* 2-11/16" widescreen LCD
* 25X optical zoom lens (digital zoom to 1500X)
* High-definition video resolution: 1920 x 1080
* Optical image stabilization
* Face recognition tracks your subject within the frame (up to 6 registered subjects)
It is a good HD camcorder for your budget. Good video quality.

the camera on best buy actually looks like about the perfect camera for you. it takes about the best video you can get, because it’s 1080p. so, it’ll look really good on any screen. it also takes 10mp pictures, which is a big plus.

most picture cameras also take HD video, though probably not as good as that one. I believe most Kodak cameras now take HD video.

but, I would definitely stick with the one you showed. it looks like a great quality camera, and probably easy to use. the recording time is about average for a camera like that, but perfectly fine for youtube videos.
