Can i burn an HD video file onto a DVD?

Is that possible? My HD video file is an mp4 file. I also have a DVD player that can play HD videos.

Yes if you use a decent editing programme,Ulead videostudio (in my opinion) is the very best software available & will do ANYTHING you want with video, you can download a free 14day unrestricted trial from http://www.corel.co.uk but be warned, once you use it you will be hooked. the full package is not very expensive but if you decide to buy it go for the boxed version which comes with what is probably the best user manual I have ever come across, it’s written in plain English without a lot of technical jargon. I have tried many other editing programmes but Ulead is the world’s best.
