I own a Sony Bloggie camera which records in 1080p, and uses MP4 video files, and I asked a friend of mine to record something for me, only problem is it’s sideways. Iv’e been looking around but i can’t seem to find anything to rotate it without losing the HD quality. Are there any good programs i can download to do this?

I just got a Bloggie too, I found that if you hold it horizontally when recording, the picture fits widescreen TV’s completely with no black, but holding it vertically you get the narrow screen with the black.
As far as the movie being sideways, that’s if the camera thinks it’s one direction but isn’t, to prevent this always make sure the icons on the screen are right side up, if you notice the play button is sideways, your video will be sideways, it’s really the only way to know.
You can fix a sideways video in microsoft movie maker, which is already on your computer.
A lot of people complain that they can’t open the videos in microsoft movie maker. I was stumped on this for the past week and people were recommending converters you had to buy, etc, but I just figured out the free solution:
Upload the video to YouTube, after its on there, goto "my account" > "videos" > next to the video there’s an "Edit info" button, an "insight" button and a down arrow, click the down arrow to the right of "insight" and goto "download Mp4" > save it back onto your computer but now you can edit it with microsoft movie maker, which is a free program already on your computer.
Open the video in Microsoft Movie Maker and click rotate, then save it.
