@01chach Mord Sith here in the TV are like kittens compared to Bengal Tigers in the books. It is said in the books that the one thing they fear above all else is dying of old age, come to think of it .. that is the ONLY thing they fear, apart from not being able to protect Lord Rahl.
@motownazn I believe she is making her voice different becuase in this episode she is a mord sith that wants to do harm, so she is giving a darker voice rather than in season 2 she is actually doing good and slowly becoming more humanized then in season 1. That is just my opinion someone else might have a different opinion.

@Goodenough4m3 Actually, Zed and Shota aren’t powerful against Mord’Sith. And Shota is a little weakling anyway, always conspiring against Richard.
@orlandogirl213 What the hell are you smoking? Agiels are very powerful weapons. It can cause pain to even the strongest of people. I’m guessing someone wasn’t paying attention to when Kahlan and Richard were screaming of pain from its touch. Richard nearly lost his mind being tortured by it. Zed and Shota are very powerful, enough to move the moon and mountains. Even they couldn’t withstand its power. Mord syth are train to embrace the pain, because ob being tortured since they were childeren.

@baraxor Agiels don’t work on strong people like Richard, Zed, Cara or Kahlan. Not even Rahl. They only hurt evil people like Nicci or Shota.
Kahlan can lower the numbers. MordSith are no match against a Confessor. All Kahlan has to do is touch them.

Also, excpet under Con Dar, Kahlan can confess only one person in a several-minute period. She might confess one and *maybe* take a few others down, but in the end she’d be overwhelmed and killed.
@AlejandraDaniela1996 Trust me, if I were tortured with an Agiel, it wouldn’t hurt me, and it wouldn’t hurt you because we’re strong and good people. Shota, however, is evil and repeatedly tries to kill Richard, so it’s only natural that an Agiel would hurt her.
Why did Kahlan just stand there and get captured? She could’ve killed all of those MordSith by her confession. Why did she just do nothing?
@AlejandraDaniela1996 No they’re not. Richard was never hurt by the Agiel. Only weak people like Shota or people who serve the Keeper are hurt by them. They don’t work on good, strong people or MordSith.

Agiels are EXTREMELY painful. If you say only weak people get hurt by them, you’re calling Richard weak.
