Not RED/blue glasses 3d camcorder ! you can watch 3d movie you shoot with this camera directly on own 3d free-glasses screen . When you transfer 3d video from this camcorder to your computer or youtube you didn’t need any glasses if you have already a PC 3D FREE-GLASSES LCD SCREEN , but i’m sure you didn’t have it so you make your 1952 red/blue glasses because you didn’t have PC 3D FREE-GLASSES LCD SCREEN !!!!
for 250$ you? never find a FULL HD 3D camcorder with 2 lens
@punisherxo0
Man buy the new LG OPTIMUS 3D smartphone , it have 4.5 inch 3d free-glasses and 2 lens to shoot in 3D 720p and have HDMI output for your 3DHDTV .
@melcrose

250 dollars! Just buy a nintendo 3DS because it cost the same and it’s 3D without glasses
is there a flash?
will this come with the red/ blue glasses?
@toocoolforu …traditional film IMAX is 6120 x 4500 of descernible pixels, which is 27.5MP. Also the IMAX digital format is only 2k when watching 3D movies because you only see one projector with one eye, so it is no better than any other movie theatre, and the theatres with 4k projectors are even better.
I should probably mention that I was an engineer in the TV industry for 2 1/2 years before leaving and starting my own production company.
@toocoolforu 4k does not mean 4 megapixel, it means 4096 pixels horizontal, which is 11.5MP total. Yes the RED camera shoots 4k video as well as other cameras such as the Panavision Genesis which does 12.4MP total, although I am not sure of the height and width of the image. As for IMAX, most of your IMAX screens in normal movie theatres are nothing more than 2 2k projectors on top of each other, which isn’t even as good as 4k…the difference being the old IMAX theatres like at museums.
Great news…I’m looking for 3D news reporter for the new website in restyling…please contact me
@v12tommy 4k means 4mp video, not 11.5mp, That’s RED videos. If you like numbers, there’s still the imax format surpassing 33mp. Plus, definition is only one factor, like i said before, colors, contrast etc are still better on film. Not to mention their 100 year lifetime.
You don’t need digital to do whatever you said. It’s only good for sharing, copying it.
@toocoolforu The digital age was a step back at the time, but they have caught up and passed film now. Current digital video cameras can do 11.5 megapixel video (also known as “4k”), and I have seen a prototype UHDV camera that can do 33.1 megapixel video. Also the UHDV format can handle 22.2 surround sound as well. The sky is the limit my friend.
Also most of the movies you see in theatres, even if they were shot on 35mm, are typically converted to 4k and shown either on a 2k or 4k projector.
@ciangitardude Film cameras in 1952 had 5mp of approximated resolution with 16bit colors. 35mm cameras had (still in use for movies) about 13mp of resolution. I believe the digital age was a big stepback for quality photos and videos. But this is changing with the DSLRs today. 3D pictures exist since 1900.
Lol “because of the way its recorded” she has no clue what she’s talking about, 3D is 3D and youtube’s yt3d supports way more than just red and blue, I prefer cross eyed. Would be awesome if youtube added 3D support to the TV app on 3DTVs
@preon89 i mean youtube has a 3-d feature, it isnt on this video
@kagikan lol that makes sense haha
@krumpedup lol some people might want to just record their memories in 3d..
You can edit this footage. I own an Aiptek 3D Camcorder and the footage works in Final Cut, Premier, etc etc. You edit footage that shows both eyes, but it is very editable. Furthermore, this camera does support shutter 3D. The statement that the camera is only red/blue was a mistake.
@melcrose sorry this camera isnt up to your high standards…..
and im pretty sure in 1952 there was no such thing as digital video or photos let alone 3D!!!!
@krumpedup they said theres no 3d video editing yet they gotta make sure it catchs on b4 they can release an editing program but if its a Side by side video u could probly do the editing ur self
@cjcool91 Honestly dude, it does Sony no good to release a 3D camera without the ability to edit the 3D footage. Marketing FAIL.
but cant u use other edditing software like sony vegas??
@krumpedup be patient foo
This is so cool, gonna have to get one
Still no editing program for 3D video? This is useless…
@cjcool91 Hard to say, but I think you’re right. She very clearly says it’s red/blue only, but Sony’s site claims 3D HDMI output – which could mean 3D HDMI spec, or red/blue over HDMI. It wouldn’t be the first time a sales rep had the product wrong…
