I’ve had this TV for almost two years, the picture quality is amazing and I haven’t blown a bulb yet. The bulbs go bad if you turn the TV on and off constantly not allowing the bulb to cool. It’s great for a large basement theater, but I wouldn’t put it in my living room unless it was 600+ sq ft

I have this TV and it has been perfect for two years now. It has a killer picture.

Toshiba 65HM167 65-Inch 1080p DLP TV has excellent picture and sound, BUT 1) the light bulb needs replacement every 6 to 8 months ($170), and 2) after 2 years the screen now has 1,000+ white dots on it–which is apparently also a problem on Samsung TVs. So be sure to get 5-year extended warranty (and hope they will honor it), OR get a smaller LCD or Plasma TV, as the initial price of $1,609 (with tax) + $267 (stand) + $628 for 5-year warranty, with replacement bulbs can make this expensive.
