    Full HD is 1080p
HD ready is 1080i and 720i etc.But tbh ive not noticed a big difference in HD ready or full HD.My Sony Bravia is HD ready and the picture qualty when watching something in HD is fantastic

if you are talking tv resolutions.
hd ready is 1366 by 768
full hd is 1920 by 1080.
most hd ready will take a 1080i or p signal and then down convert to 720p.
full had means it will display the signal at a full 1080 resolution
the broadcasters transmit at 1080i. only blu ray displays in 1080p, but they will also upscale normal dvd`s to 1080p

In the US "HD Ready" means it does not have a HD tuner built in. It has nothing to do with resolution.

You cannot simply hook up an antenna to a HD Ready set.

These TV’s are a bit cheaper but work well for people that only use cable or SAT service.
