What is the difference between HD DVD and Blueray?

HI wats the difference between HD DVD and blueray?
can xbox play HD DVD?

They are similar but not compatible, and blueray had higher capacity per disc and ended up having more support from the studios so it won out. Xbox can’t play hddvd’s normally, but there is a addon drive that you may still be able to find on ebay or other closeout sales.

dvd disc can hold approximately 4.7 gigabytes of data

blu ray disc of basically the same size can hold approximately 27 gigabytes of data.
