   You need to get the HD cable box to receive the HD channels.

   You will not get the HD channels without the HD box. The box is usually only $5 a month. These channels are only copies of existing channels however. So you won’t miss out on content, just quality.
   And the box comes with cables.

   and $80 cables to connect it all, and subscribe to the channels..

   No way,you’ll only get a better image quality thats all.The channel and box will be the same
